Our portrait collections begin at $500, with thoughtfully curated options ranging from a beautifully simple studio experience to the complete KLP experience.

A $200 or $400 booking fee is required to reserve your date, depending on the collection you choose. Your booking fee is applied toward your collection investment.

Your collection includes your selected portraits and the experience outlined within that collection. Heirloom artwork and additional services are available separately for those who wish to further personalize their experience.

You’ll receive our full collection guide before your complimentary consultation so you can review everything in detail before we meet.

KLP specializes in thoughtfully styled studio portraits for women, maternity, motherhood, and families.

Whether you’re celebrating pregnancy, your family, a milestone, or simply yourself, each session is thoughtfully designed around your story, your vision, and the artwork you want to create.

We recommend booking 2–4 weeks in advance, with four weeks being ideal for the most flexibility in scheduling and thoughtful session planning.

For maternity sessions, we recommend scheduling between 28–34 weeks of pregnancy. If you have a specific date, wardrobe vision, or creative concept in mind, booking earlier is always encouraged.

Once you’ve selected your collection and are ready to move forward, we’ll send your agreement and booking invoice.

Your non-refundable booking fee and signed agreement are required to officially reserve your date and time. If both are not completed within 24 hours of receiving your proposal, your requested date may be released to another client.

Your booking fee is applied toward your selected collection.

Yes! Payment plans are available on eligible portrait collections.

Your booking fee is required to reserve your session date. The remaining collection balance can be arranged according to the payment options available for your selected collection.

Your final portrait retouching and artwork production will begin once your collection has been paid in full.

Studio sessions are available Monday through Saturday, with sessions scheduled between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM.

If you need a special scheduling arrangement, please reach out and we’ll do our best to accommodate you when possible.

KLP specializes in studio portraiture, allowing us to carefully control the lighting, styling, wardrobe, and overall artistic direction of your portraits.

At this time, outdoor sessions are not part of our regular offerings.

Professional makeup artistry is included with select collections and is available as an add-on for collections where it is not included.

If you prefer to arrive camera-ready and do your own makeup, you’re absolutely welcome to do so.

Our goal is for you to feel beautiful, comfortable, and completely yourself throughout the experience.

The number of looks included depends on the collection you choose. Each collection is thoughtfully designed with a specific number of looks, studio setups, and wardrobe options.

Additional looks may also be added to your collection if you'd like to create more variety during your session.

Absolutely! Kathleen will expertly guide you throughout your session, from posing and facial expressions to the perfect placement of your arms, every detail will be taken care of. While we understand that being in front of the camera can feel intimidating, we are committed to making the experience enjoyable and seamless. Rest assured, we’ve got you every step of the way.

Small dogs may be included in select studio sessions with advance approval.

Because our studio environment and session schedule require additional preparation, please let us know before your session if you’d like to include your dog. At this time, only small dogs are permitted; other animals are not able to participate.

There’s no single perfect age for a motherhood session. We recommend scheduling when you feel ready to capture this season with your little one.

For more variety in posing and individual portraits, many families enjoy sessions once their baby is around 6 months or older. However, beautiful portraits can be created at many different stages.

Yes. Your private portrait reveal is an important part of the KLP experience.

During your appointment, you’ll view your portraits with Kathleen and select the images included in your collection. You’ll also have the opportunity to add additional portraits or heirloom artwork if you'd like to further personalize your experience.

Because your portraits are selected and finalized during this appointment, we do not offer an online proofing gallery.

Absolutely. Each collection includes a specific number of artistically retouched portraits, and you’re welcome to purchase additional portraits if you fall in love with more from your session.

We also offer heirloom artwork, including fine art prints, albums, folio boxes, and wall art, for those who would like to bring their portraits into their home.

That’s absolutely okay. Your collection includes the digital files associated with your selected portraits, so you can enjoy and share your images digitally.

If you’d like to create something tangible, heirloom artwork such as fine art prints, albums, folio boxes, and wall art can also be added to your experience.

RAW and unedited files are not provided.

Your portraits are carefully selected and professionally retouched as part of the KLP experience. Each final portrait is intentionally refined to reflect the artistic style and quality you see throughout our portfolio.

You’ll receive beautifully finished portraits that are ready to be enjoyed, printed, and preserved.

After your private reveal and ordering appointment, your selected portraits will be professionally retouched and finalized.

Your final digital gallery is typically delivered within three weeks of your selections being finalized. Physical artwork is typically ready within an additional 3–4 weeks, depending on the product selected.

Need your portraits sooner? Priority Artistry Editing is available for an expedited 4–5 business day turnaround.

Absolutely. If you decide you'd like more portraits or additional offerings, we can discuss upgrading your collection or adding à la carte options.

Collection changes are easiest to make before your session or during your planning process, so we can make sure everything is prepared for your experience.

Pricing and collection offerings are subject to change.

Once your proposal is issued, it is valid for 24 hours. Once your booking fee has been paid and your agreement has been signed, your selected collection and included services are secured at the quoted price.

Not at all.

Your privacy is important to us. You’re welcome to share your portraits if you’d like, but your images will never be published on our website or social media without your explicit permission.

Your booking fee is non-refundable because it reserves your dedicated session date and time.

We understand that life happens. If you need to reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible. One complimentary reschedule may be available with at least two weeks’ notice, based on studio availability.

Cancellations made with at least two weeks’ notice may be applied toward a future session within 12 months. Cancellations or rescheduling requests made with less than two weeks’ notice may result in the loss of your booking fee.

Because sessions are intentionally scheduled with time for planning and preparation, available reschedule dates may be limited.
